Whether you like it or not: Christmas is nearly here.
Some people don’t like Christmas, they think it’s the most stressful and consumerist period of the year.
Well, do you know what I think?
That everyone decides for themselves, and makes life what they think it is. We decide if our Christmas is only based on gifts and money or if it is based on something else.
For me, Christmas doesn’t mean many things: finally spending some time with my family, lights, decoration, food, lots of food, but most of all Home, to be part of something and want to stay with the really important people.
Maybe it’s because I live abroad and I can’t have my family and old friends always close, but for me Christmas is when I can go back to a safe place, go back to the start.
Here is where my first Christmas recipe comes from: a snowy gingerbread village.
If I could go back home any time I wanted only by opening this jar … well, for me, that would be Christmas magic.
