Ok, I admit it, I’m not going to deny anything: I-am-a-daddy’s-girl.
All right, it’s been ages that I’ve been denying and saying it’s not true…
But, first of all, I want to say that is not my fault if I’m the only girl out of four… and that I didn’t do anything to make it this way… but this is how it is… I can’t deny it anymore.
Do you want to know the truth?
I love it! 😛
Sunday will be father’s day in Italy (I know that in others countries it may be another day of the year) and I couldn’t not bake a cake for this event! Unfortunately I can’t take it to my dad, because he lives in Italy and I live in the UK, but I want to dedicate it to him anyway.
Why moustaches? Because I’m sure thatIf your dad was around during the 70s, he surely donned a moustache or two and, who knows! Maybe he still has one.
For this father’s day gift I used two super recipes that I already posted : the “Quatre Quarts cake” (similar to a pound cake) filled with Camy cream. All you need to do is adjust the ingredients to fill three single 18 cm baking tins. I used 8 eggs (and the same weight for the other ingredients).
For the Camy cream I used: 750 gr of mascarpone cheese, 375 gr of fresh cream and 250 gr of condensed milk.
Here is how to make it.
Happy father’s day to all of your fathers and especially to my unique and irreplaceable dad.
