My love for the Cream Tart is well know by now.
Like a perfect love story, ours was born on Valentine’s day, when I prepared my first Heart Cream Tart, filled with cream cheese, biscuits, jellies and fresh flowers.
After a bit, I couldn’t resist and decided to create a Letter Cream Tart, but this time I filled it with dark chocolate frosting (called namelaka), biscuits, chocolates and caramel pop corn.
I loved both versions because they are similar but original and different at the same time.
Then, recently, I discovered that the Israeli pastry chef, Adi Klinghofer, who became a web star thanks to this cake, shared her winning recipe. Do you think I could not try it? Of course not!
Here it is the real Cream Tart as Adi makes it. I decided to personalized it and make a rainbow with fresh fruit and dedicate it to my little niece Denyse who turns 8.
