Have you ever bought some fruit and, for some reason, didn’t eaten it until it became too ripe?
I mean those times in which the fruit is still good but not as tempting as before…And so you walk around and around, glancing at it in the hope that it will become young and beautiful again.
And you feel guilty, because you know that that fruit needs to be eaten, and yet it’s still there, looking at you from the fruit basket doing its best to get your attention and be eaten.
Well, today’s recipe calls for overripe bananas, those bananas that nobody wants to eat. However, the most interesting thing is that they are perfect to make a fragrant Banana Bread! It is perfect for breakfast, even better with a freshly squeezed orange juice or in the afternoon with a cup of coffee or a nice tea.
In this recipe we use buttermilk. If you can’t find it in your local store, don’t worry – in the video I will show you how to make a perfect substitute.
Let’s go to the recipe.
