Did you know that we can make homemade Condensed Milk?
I know, it’s A-MA-ZI-NG!
The process is really easy, you don’t need a long time and the ingredients are few.
Probably you already know how to use Condensed Milk but some people don’t know how many things we can do with it: desserts, caramel sauces, biscuits, ice cream, Dulce de Leche… just to give you some examples.
I used it here for the first time in the Chocolate and Coconut Bonbons but we will use it in other recipes, you’ll see.
Let’s go to the recipe!
– If you would like to store some Condensed Milk, when it is still hot pour it in a glass jar (previously sterilised and completely dry), close the lid and let it cool upside down (as you do for homemade jam).
– As I wrote in the Chocolate and Coconut Bonbons recipe, we can make Condensed Milk with a coconut aroma, using coconut oil instead of butter. You just have to reduce about 25% of butter amount recommend in the recipe (In this recipe for example you can substitute 25g of butter with 18/20g of coconut oil).
